Interesting fact about the picture in from of the Pagoda. the picture shows the legendary creature named Tan which has deer antlers, dragon scale, lion tail, and ox hoofs. Tan was a greedy monster that tried to drink the sea and ended up killing itself through its greed. A very Buddhist story in concept, desire leads to disaster.
