Free breakfast, free internet and shuttle bus. A la carte breakfast is provided from 7:30am to 12:00 noon, while there is a free buffet breakfast from 7:30am to 9:30am. Free internet on the ground floor, in our dorms and private rooms. Free shuttle bus service to the heart of the city (Jingan Temple, People’s Square, and Yu Gardens). The hostel is located at the junction of Wuning Lu and Zhongshan Bei Lu, within 5 minutes walking distance of Caoyang Lu metro station on lines 3&4, just three stops from Shanghai train station by Metro line 3 and 15 minutes ride from Jing’an Temple commercial district. It is the largest YH in Shanghai with 150 rooms . It is a sister YH of 31 Utels youth hostels in Beijing (which are belong to Beijing Youth Hostel Association).
Secluded from the noise traffic artery of Wuning Lu, Shanghai City Central Youth Hostel is quietly located in the best part of the largest residential area in the city and within easy access of all transportation terminals. Buses and subway trains are a stone’s throw from the hostel, making transportation quick and convenient.
A variety of comfortable, clean rooms including ensuites, doubles, singles, and 4/8 bed dormitories with central air conditioning and individual controls in each of the 150 rooms. Along with the free internet and free breakfast, the cafe bar has a pool table, play-station, jukebox/karaoke, and an extensive food and drinks menu. Near the hostel, there is a 24-hour supermarket, breakfast bar, coffee lounge, ATM, IC/IP phones. There is also KFC, McDonald s, Bi Feng Tang restaurant, bank and post office - all nearby.
