Advertisements
World Docent doesn't advertise. Its not our business. We simply want "The Facts" about a business. Sometimes these facts are nothing more than a user's opinion. However we consider it a fact that a user had those opinions and publish them.
Advertisements such as Google Adwords or Banner advertisements will not be seen on WorldDocent.org We hope to find a business model that allows us to serve up information without it being tainted by the commercial aspect of advertising.
In the future we may entertain a Owners page feature to the site, a place where owners can advertise to customers that have found their business in the guide. However users will have the option to ignore this feature of the site and the owners will adhere to certain rules in their publication (for example it will be published under a creative commons license and past revisions will be accessible)
